Microsoft Azure MVP
I've worked with the Microsoft Azure platform for quite some time now and the last few years it's been more than a full-time job. Besides my job I've been doing a lot of other things:
- Wrote tons of blog posts on my blog Fabric Controller (http://fabriccontroller.net)
- Wrote articles for Just Azure (http://justazure.com)
- Worked on OSS like RedDog.Search and the RedDog Search Portal
- Talks on conferences and user group events: MS DevCon Russia, AzureConf, Mobile Dev Day, AZUG, Azure Podcast, …
- Helped out people on StackOverflow
And last week I received the following email from Microsoft:
Dear Sandrino Di Mattia,
Congratulations! We are pleased to present you with the 2015 Microsoft® MVP Award! This award is given to exceptional technical community leaders who actively share their high quality, real world expertise with others. We appreciate your outstanding contributions in Microsoft Azure technical communities during the past year.
Needless to say I was very honored and this is really a big motivation to do even more in 2015. Thanks for the support! And stay tuned for more blog posts!
Joining Auth0
For the last few years I've worked at RealDolmen and this has been a great experience. I got to work on challenging projects, explore new technologies, take the technical lead of all the Azure related stuff, … And RealDolmen has always supported me in my community effort and made it possible travel to Russia, London, … to talk at conferences. Thanks for everything guys! (PS: RealDolmen is always hiring .NET/Azure developers living in Belgium).
But today I started new job as a Customer Success Engineer at Auth0. Auth0 is a great platform that eliminates the friction of identity for your applications/APIs and I'm very happy to be a member of this great team. I'll be working very close with customers to help them integrate Auth0 with whatever application they're building.
The new office is located in Bellevue, Seattle and this is where I'm spending my first week with my new colleagues. But it's also a chance to explore Bellevue/Redmond and catch up with some people of the different Azure product teams.
And if you haven't had a chance to look at Auth0 yet I suggest you do so now!
- Why Auth0
- Auth0 Architecture, Running in Multiple Cloud Providers and Regions
- Getting started: different application types and platforms
- Auth0 extensibility through rules (write you custom code in the authentication pipeline)
Don't hesitate to contact me if you want more information or need some advanced integration guidance (with the Microsoft Azure platform for example).
2015 is going to be great!
